Roumanian Anti-semite Sentenced to Prison

For the first time in many years a Roumanian court sentenced an anti-Semitic agitator to imprisonment.

The Jassy Tribunal sentenced the agitator Curkan to three months imprisonment for inciting peasants who assembled on market day against Jews. Curkan offered resistence to the police when he was arrested.
