New reprisals against non-Roumanians living in the country will be the result of a special census now being taken by the Roumanian authorities, according to an announcement made last Friday in parliament by Octavian Goga, Minister of the Interior.

The purpose of the census, the Minister stated, is to identify the non-Roumanians. Foreigners will be expelled from the country without consideration This is particularly necessary in the towns of the new provinces where the presence of foreigners gives a wrong impression as to the ethnic character of the country, he stated.
