(Jewish Telegraphic Agency)

The strike of the anti-Semitic Roumanian students, insisting upon the introduction of a numerus clausus for Jewish students continues throughout Roumania.

In spite of the fact that the strike continues and despite the mistreatment of Jewish students, the threats made by the Roumanian government that the universities would be closed has not materialized, probably because of the approaching Easter holiday when the universities are closed.

The introduction of a numerus clausus in the legal profession was asked of the bar association in Jassy by a group of Christian members of the association. This demand has aroused great indignation among Jewish attorneys in Roumania.
