Enforcing further the newly-promulgated Rumanian anti-Jewish law, Minister of Justice Ion Gruia today announced that all judges and other officials under his jurisdiction must furnish proof by Aug. 22 that they are “Aryans,” German wireless reports from Bucharest said.

Persons of other professions who have been asked by Rumanian courts to act as experts must do the same within four weeks, the reports asserted.

The German wireless also reported that a Jewish workman was sentenced to 15 years of penal servitude by a military court at Galati on charges he conducted propaganda inimical to the state.
