Broadcasts to foreign countries from Israel, especially those in Russian, will be increased this year, Jewish Agency director general Moshe Rivlin said today. He was discussing the activities of the World Zionist Organization before the finance committee of the General Zionist Council, which has been discussing the WZO budget. The committee confirmed today its 1973-74 budget of IL 131.8 million. Rivlin reported that Russian and Georgian language broadcasts sponsored by the WZO from Israel, would be extended daily for two hours, bringing the total number of broadcast time in these languages to seven hours daily.
