The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Poland started a suit today against a Jewish poultry slaughterer “for his barbaric method of slaughtering.”
This is the first case of its kind in Poland and is part of the general drive which has started in Poland by anti-Jewish elements to secure the prohibition of schechita, the slaughtering process in accordance with Jewish ritual.
