Salmon O. Levinson, prominent Chicago attorney, was awarded the Order of the Three Stars by the Latvian government today in recognition of his participation in the fight for Latvian national liberation, which is being commemorated here.

Numbers of Jewish combatants in the various struggles for the liberation of Latvia participated with government officials and the Latvian army today in a number of parades in various cities.
