A surprise birthday party is being held Sunday for Samuel Baron, 106, oldest resident at the Home of the Daughters of Jacob, 167th street and Findlay avenue.
The board of directors and Mrs. Peter J. Scweitzer, its president, are giving the party.
Mr. Baron is unaware of the celebration being planned in his honor. He is still spry and active and declares he enjoys nothing better than an “occasional jig and dance.”
