San Francisco Mayor Names Four Jews to Human Rights Commission

Four prominent San Francisco Jews are among the 15 members of the new city Commission on Human Relations named here today by Mayor John F. Shelley.

They are Rabbi Alvin I. Fine; Earl Raab, associate director of the Jewish Community Relations Council; Robert Lauter, a businessman and civic leader; and Howard Nemerovski, a director of the Northern California Branch of the American Jewish Congress. Mr. Lauter and Mr. Merovski are members of the JCRC.
