A committee has been organized to call a mass demonstration against “religious compulsory rules” and leaders of the Histadrut, which opposes the Saturday ban, are expected to confer with Communications Minister David Zvi Pinkas on the matter. Opponents of the Saturday rule insist on the right of each car owner to choose both “idle” days, instead of the one which they now elect together with Saturday.
