Saul Kaplun $300,000 Building Dedicated at Hebrew University

The new Saul Kaplun Building for Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics was dedicated here today at the Hebrew University campus in the presence of Minister of Tourism and Development Moshe Kol, Hebrew University president Eliahu Elath and Morris J. Kaplun, of New York, donor of the $300,000 facility.

Named for Mr. Kaplun’s son, Saul, a gifted researcher in mathematical physics at the California Institute of Technology, who died in 1964 at the age of 40, the new structure includes 22 seminar, staff and research rooms, a large library and reading rooms.
