Are East European Jews on a wholesale scale abandoning their own names and adopting historic German names? This is one of the questions in an interpellation being prepared by deputies belonging to the German national party for presentation in the Prussian Reichstag.
They are also preparing to demand a census of the East European Jews who have immigrated to Germany and propose to inquire what steps are being taken towards preventing Germany from being overrun by these Jews.
A resolution has been introduced in the Reichstag giving the refugees from the Ruhr preference over foreigners in locating houses. The measure, it is said, is aimed at the East European Jews who have settled here.
