Judas Iscariot, by a daring bit of strategy, attempted to have Jesus crowned King of the Jews, and did not betray Him for thirty pieces of silver as the New Testament would have us believe, declares H. E. von Kalinowski, prominent German authority on the Bible, in his new book, “Judas Iscariot.” According to this work, Judas was not avaricious, and Herr Kalinowski declares that Judas is the most misunderstood man in history. Pointing to the ardor of Judas, Herr Kalinowski insists that Judas turned Jesus over to the Romans in the hope that Jesus would perform a miracle.
