Says White Paper Does Not Diverge from Previous Policy

“There was absolutely no intention in the White Paper to diverge from the Palestine policy as carried out by several successive governments,” declared Lord Passfield at the first session of the Labor party yesterday. The White Paper was the chief subject of discussion during the meeting.

Lord Passfield assured the party that the cabinet would continue to pursue the policy, which they believed to be in keeping with the Palestine policy of preceding cabinets.
