The German ban against Jews in boxing will be extended to Joe Jacobs, manager of the former heavyweight champion. Max Schmeling, in the event of Schmeling’s return to Germany, the German Boxing Commission announced today. But Joe Jacobs, in New York, expressed no desire to go to Germany. Schmeling is training for a bout with Max Baer in New York in June. His prize-fighting successes have been made entirely in the United States, under the management of Jacobs.
