School Teachers Urged to Aid Appeal Drive

Jewish school teachers were urged to contribute to the United Jewish Appeal what they formerly donate dto city relief by Edward Mandel, associate superintendent of schools, at a special teachers’ meeting at the Hotel Commodore last Friday.

Others who addressed the 250 teachers were: Benjamin Veit, Dr. Maxwell Ross, and Morris Rothenberg. Veit suggested organization of an Educators’ Division of the Appeal.
