Dr. Joseph Schwartz, European director of the Joint Distribution Committee, will return to the United States this week to report on the present situation of the Jews in Europe at a special meeting called by the JDC for next Sunday, Dec. 5, it was announced here today. Miss Laura Margolis, JDC representative in Shanghai, who is en route home aboard the exchange liner Gripsholm is also expected to speak at the meeting.
