A new search for hidden Nazi documents–plus a possible cache of gold and other looted valuables–is scheduled to be launched by the German Government tomorrow in the Hartz Mountain area near Hannover, it was announced here today. The search will be conducted by the Pioneer Corps of the West German army.
Information acquired by the Government has indicated that, in 1945, the SS Security Office in Berlin secreted documents and “treasures” in chalk mines in the Hartz Mountain area.
