A memorandum asking permission to set up a representative body of Rumanian Jews was submitted to the Government today by Dr. Markus Kraemer, Zionist leader of Czernowitz. The petition was predicted on the fact that the Jews, unlike other minorities groups, have not been invited to join the Front of National Regeneration, the one-party system set up by King Carol after suppression of all political parties in the country last year.
