The American Friends of a Jewish Palestine today issued an appeal for $15,000 to finance the voyage to Palestine of 500 Jewish refugees who arrived at the Bulgarian Danube port of Ruse yesterday after spending four months on the Danube. They left Bratislava, Slovakia, in April.

The American Friends is appealing to the Rumanian Government to permit transit for the refugees and is also asking the Bulgarian Government and the American State Department for aid.
