A resolution urging the substitution of Latin characters for the Hebrew characters in the Yiddish press was adopted today at the All-Ukrainian Yiddish Cultural Workers’ conference. The resolution urged the calling of a central orthographic commission to put the change into effect and the Yiddish press was invited to throw its columns open for discussion on the subject.
