A mass meeting of the New Zionist Organization, right-wing body, last night adopted a resolution demanding that Jewish self-defense be permitted in Palestine under the Government’s control and that a Jewish regiment be established as a permanent section of the empire troops.

The principal speaker was Vladimir Jabotinsky, head of the N.Z.O. and a leader of the Jewish Legion contingent of the British troops in Palestine during the World War. Brigadier-General Andre Weiller, of the French Army, presided.
