Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) introduced legislation Wednesday to help immigrants apply for U.S. citizenship. The bill, supported by the United Jewish Communities and the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, would fund the Immigration and Naturalization Service to help reduce the backlog of applicants and reduce the amount of time it takes to process an immigrant.
