The Senate approved and sent to the Wh### House today a Mutual Security Bill which provides $135,000,000 in economic ###ance for the Arab-Israel area. Israel is expected to share equally with the ### in the Near Eastern sum and receive approximately the same amount of assi### provided in last year’s program.
The Senate completed action on the measure today by an affirmative voic###. The amount for Israel and the Arabs was contained in the general bill for ec### and military assistance for the year that began July 1. Included in the bill is### $30,000,000 in military funds potentailly available, subject to the discretion ###ident Eisenhower, to Israel and the Arab states.
