Senate Passes Dp Bill; Measure Goes to White House for President Truman’s Signature

The Senate this afternoon adopted the compromise Displaced Persons Bill on a voice vote. The new measure, which provides for the admission of 341,000 DP’s up to June 30, 1951, now goes to the White House for President Truman’s signature.
