Seven Jewish workingmen, members of the extreme wing of the Labor movement, were tried here last Monday for disobedience to the police when the latter tried to disperse an illegal meeting of workingmen. They were sentenced to one month’s imprisonment and to deportation upon release.
The prisoners have appealed from this sentence.
