Several Jewish groups backed a U.S. Supreme Court ruling that a gender-equity law shields people who report violators. The high court ruled Tuesday that an Alabama girls basketball coach had legal protection for reporting a violation of Title IX, a law that bars sex discrimination in educational programs that receive federal funding.
