Sharey Tefilo Congregation, a Reform temple, has started plans for its sixtieth anniversary. A banquet will be held on November 3 at the Progress Club in Newark. Mrs. Oscar Schwabe heads the committee for the event. Among the honor guests will be Jacob Harris of Montclair, sole surviving founder of the congregation; Louis V. Aronson, Newark civic leader, and Rabbi Marius Ranson, spiritual leader. Henry Kanegsberg, president of the congregation, will read a history of the edifice.
The Montefiore Aid Society, whose membership is interested in the edifice, will observe its fiftieth anniversary on October 26.
