Shimon Peres said his Labor Party is weighing whether to remain in Israel’s unity government. “I know there are many members of my party who think the time has come to leave the government,” Peres said Tuesday during a trip to Romania. Peres and other Labor ministers walked out of a Cabinet meeting early Tuesday after the Cabinet branded the Palestinian Authority a terror-supporting entity. Labor does not want to discredit P.A. President Yasser Arafat as a potential negotiating partner.
