Shmuel Ben-Tovim has arrived from Israel to assume the position of Trade Commissioner to the United States and director of the Government of Israel Trade Center. Appointed by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, to coordinate export and trade activities from the G.I.T.C. headquarters in New York, Ben-Tovim will also oversee the commercial activities of regional offices in Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston, Houston, Philadelphia and Atlanta.
