Shweid Takes over Former Bronx Schildkraut Theatre

Mark Shweid, the well-known actor, took over the former Schildkraut Theatre, in the Bronx.

Mr. Shweid was a member of the Jewish Art Theatre during the period of its existence. He is also the author of several volumes of prose and poetry. Mr. Shweid is planning to open his theatre during the coming Jewish holidays, and expects to produce a number of original Yiddish plays.
