“The news which has come over the cable distresses and shocks me,” declared Felix M. Warburg, chairman of the Administrative Committee of the Jewish Agency, in a statement to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency today. “I have immediately sent for the full official text of the Simpson report and the British government declaration. Upon the receipt of these documents I shall study them, and then, and not until then, will I make a further statement.”
