A Sefer Torah, the Holy Scrolls, will be presented to the Yeshurun Synagogue of Jerusalem by Sir Herbert Samuel, former British High Commissioner of Palestine.
Sir Herbert informed the synagogue board of his intention in a letter received here today.
Professor Albert Einstein expressed his hope of revisiting Palestine in a communication to the Palestine Teachers’ Federation.
In sending them his portrait Professor Einstein writes that he hopes soon to join them as a member of the faculty of the Hebrew University.
