Sixty Arab villages in Israel with a total population of some 120,000, will be linked up to the national electric power network, according to plans announced here today by the Ministry of Development.
Under a five-year master project, the Ministry will also step up housing construction in Arab villages with the first 350 units scheduled for completion during the current fiscal year. Some 20,000,000 pounds ($6,667,000) are earmarked for the projects.
