The South African Zionist Federation today launched a nation-wide information drive to acquaint the Jewish community in the Union with “the latest aspects of the situation in Israel.” A mass meeting addressed by Bernard Gering, chairman of the Federation, was held at Coronation Hall here last night as the first stage in the campaign.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
