The first research fellowship for the study of the sociology of British Jewry has been established at the London School of Economics by the Jewish Journal of Sociology here. The Journal’s editor, Dr. Morris Ginsburg, Professor Emeritus of Sociology at the London School of Economics, said his periodical had sponsored the fellowship in the hope of encouraging students to enter this field, in which so little research has been done.
