Sokolow Arrives in Palestine; Accorded Warm Reception; Received by Wauchope

Nahum Sokolow, president of the World Zionist Organization, and the Jewish Agency for Palestine, arrived in Palestine yesterday.

He was met at Ludd in the morning and accorded a warm reception by a delegation which accampanied him to Jerusalem.

The delegation included Dr. Chaim Arlosoroff, Heschel Farbstein, Emanuel Neumann, of the Jewish Agency Executive; Chaim Nachman Bialik, Mayor Meyer Dizengoff of Tel Aviv and representatives of various organizations.

Upon the party’s arrival in Jerusalem, Dr. Sokolow was greeted by a large and distinguished throng which included M. M. Ussishkin, president of the Jewish National Fund, members of the Jewish Agency Executive and the Executive of the Palestine Jewish National Council and the Polish Consul General.
