Some 10,000 Israelis marched through Tel Aviv to support Israel’s planned withdrawal from the Gaza Strip. The number of participants in Saturday night’s march was lower than organizers had expected. But carrying signs reading “Israel Is Leaving Gaza,” the crowd of mostly left-wing Israelis filled the streets surrounding downtown Tel Aviv’s Dizengoff Square.
