Some 200 Palestinians hurled stones at Israeli soldiers for a third straight day in the West Bank town of Bethlehem. Wednesday’s demonstration took place during the funeral of a Palestinian souvenir vendor killed Monday by an Israeli soldier. The soldier shot the vendor, who allegedly tried to stab him.
