Some 244,000 people of Jewish heritage live in Buenos Aires and outlying areas, according to a new survey. Of those people — which includes those who have either maternal or paternal Jewish heritage — 67 percent define themselves as Jews, according to the survey, conducted by the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee.
