Some Jewish charities are finding a virtual mother lode as they turn to the Internet to raise money. According to a survey of online giving by the Chronicle of Philanthropy, the Jewish Federation/Jewish United Fund of Chicago and the Jewish National Fund were the biggest Web success stories of 2001.
