A pretty Jewish stenographer, Minerva Aaronson, 19, secretary in a law office here, will marry John J. Raskob, jr., son of the chairman of the Democratic National Committee and a Catholic.
Miss Aaronson announced her betrothal today and stated that she would be married n###t spring by a Catholic priest. The e###agement was confirmed by Mr. Raskob sr. who stated that the wedding would take place here and denied reports that he would establish a $2,000,000 trust fund for the young couple following their marriage.
John, jr. is 23 and the eldest of Mr. and Mrs. Raskob’s eleven children. He met Miss Aaronson, whom Mr. Raskob, sr. called “a very delightful person” while he was attending the Sheffield Scientific School of Yale University.
