A provisional committee has been appointed under the leadership of Mr. Richard Feldman and Mr. E. Reudel, who have been active workers in the United South African Jewish Relief Fund. for the purpose of establishing an organization to support Jewish land settlement in Russia.

The “African Jewish World” in an article welcoming the decision to form an organization writes: “In view of the Kerea Hayesod campaign to be launched in April. when it is anticipated that Mr. Sokolow will arrive and tour the country for that purpose, it is hoped that some kind of working arrangement may be come to with this Provisional Committee, as we canner see why as is being done in other countries the two campaigns cannot work side by side, as both are out for the benefit of the Jewish people albeit in different spheres.”
