Soviet Allows Hilfsverein to Work in Russia

The Soviet Government will permit the Hilfsverein der Deutschen Juden, the German Jewish body for relief work, active before the war in Jewish philanthropic and Cultural work, to carry on its activity among the Jewish colonists in Soviet Russia.

It was stated here. on good. authority that, based on this decision, the Comzet, government department, for settling Jews, will conclude a special agreement with the Hilfsverein to begin cultural and welfare work in the colonies.

Rabbi Solomon Goldman of the Cleveland Jewish Center arrived here.
