The Soviet official, Tatirisha, chairman of the district soviet in the government of Vitebsk, was dismissed from his position and will be tried for anti-Semitic practices.

Charges were brought against Tatirisha that he had dismissed all Jewish officials under his jurisdiction and had ordered the destruction of all trees in the Jewish cemetery.
