There are more than 50,000 books, and many rare, valuable manuscripts in the Jewish section of the Saltikov-Shchedrin Library, according to a report by the Soviet news agency “Novosti,” received here today.
The collection includes works by Jewish authors during the Spanish-Arabic period, dating back to the era between the Tenth and Thirteenth Centuries.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
