Spain has admitted a trainload of 600 Poles and Jews from France, while Portugal is admitting only those in transit to other countries, it was reported today by Dr. Ignacy Schwartzbard, member of the Polish National Council, who arrived from France on Sunday.

Practically all the Jews in Paris, except the poorest, managed to evacuate Paris before the Nazi occupation of the French capital, Dr. Schwarzbard said. Marc Jarblum and Isaac Naiditch, French Zionist leaders, are in Toulouse, he added.
