Denying reports which have appeared in the London press, the Spanish Embassy here, in a statement issued today, declared that “there is no truth in the allegation that any decree has been issued providing for the dissolution of Jewish religious institutions in Spain.”
This denial, the J.T.A. is informed, follows representations made to the Spanish Ambassador by Mr. H. A. Goodman, Political Secretary of the Agudath Israel World Organization, and was issued after consultation with the Spanish authorities in Madrid.
