Spokesman Denies French Government Lifts Arms Boycott Against Syria and Lebanon

A French Foreign Ministry spokesman denied today that France had lifted its arms embargo against Syria and the Lebanon and also denied knowledge of the presence In Paris of an arms purchasing commission for both countries. Arms would be sold to those nations after the conclusion of peace, the spokesman said.
