State Department Appoints Public Affairs Officer for U.S. Embassy in Israel

Leonard Ware, editorial writer for the Boston Herald, was named public affairs officer for the U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv. He will leave for his post late this month.

The United States has assigned “minimum immigration quotas” of 100 persons a year each to Israel and Transjordan. The minimum quotas of 100 apply only to citizens of these two nations who were born in their respective countries.
